DreyersInc.com - Partnering with Dreyer's: Distribution

Distribution

Direct to the Freezer

Dreyer's owns a premier fleet of delivery trucks operated by drivers who are ice cream experts. These dedicated distributors ensure that Dreyer's cartons are carefully placed in the grocer's freezer to make sure the product on your store shelves is in perfect condition.

Dreyer's delivery trucks make up the nation's largest ice cream Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network. This nationwide DSD model guarantees the right flavor at the right store at the right time, every time.

United States

Dreyer's and Edy's Grand Ice Cream are exactly the same products but are marketed as different brand names on the east and west coasts. The two names are used to honor Dreyer's and Edy's founders – William Dreyer (an ice cream maker) and Joseph Edy (a confectioner).

Originally sold only in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream is now distributed throughout the western states, including Texas. It is also available east of the Rocky Mountains, where it is marketed as Edy's Grand Ice Cream. Today, our ice cream products are pleasing palates from coast to coast and around the world.

International

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream products are currently exported outside the continental United States through the assistance of independent distributors.
